JMJ Tiles offer the production of site specific ceramic murals, tile mosaics, and art tiles reflective of the craftsman era. joshua has been inspired by tiles previously made by Claycraft and Batchelder. JMJ Tile is currently located on the sleepy north end of Longboat Key, Florida. Joshua tries to focus on creating tiles similar to the way the early pioneers did; to see and feel the colors and landscapes they were inspired by.
Each tile is handpainted and embossed and has its own beauty and charm. Each tile has a unique matte finish that gives it an antique quality. The tiles are approximately 1/2” thick. The tiles are high fired and uniquely glazed; no two are alike. Many of his tiles are reminiscient of the beauty and nature that surrounds Santa Barbara, California. In addition to his location in Florida, he also has studios in Santa Monica and South Pasadena, California. we think you'll agree that they are one-of-a-kind.
